Having a longstanding relationship with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and with Global Ties for Children’s expertise in child development and early action, IDELA was brought to International Care Ministries’ (ICM) work in the Philippines for its Family Academy program. Through its use in multiple countries, ability to capture holistic development, and having already been adapted and used in the Philippines, IDELA was the right fit for ICM. ICM had been working to continuously improve and advance the implementation of its Family Academy program from 2017 to 2018. ICM conducted a randomized controlled trial to identify not only the natural development of children but also the impact of its Family Academy program. ICM is currently conducting data analysis to determine results.
