The International Development and Early Learning Assessment, IDELA, is an easy-to-use, rigorous global tool that measures children’s early learning and development.

IDELA training videos offer a deeper look into the preparation, tasks and scoring that make up an IDELA assessment.  They also demonstrate the interaction between children and assessors, and a wide range of behaviors a child may exhibit during an assessment.  The videos are not a comprehensive training. They work alongside the full IDELA toolkit of guides, translations and data analysis tools.  A full five day training is still recommended for IDELA users.

IDELA is available to the public free as an open access tool. If you’d like to use IDELA and watch the IDELA Training Videos, please complete the online MOU. After signing the MOU, you’ll be given full access to the IDELA tool, translations, and data collection and analysis resources.
