Multi-Partner Collaboration with IDELA: Ichuli Consulting and The Aga Khan Foundation
> Aga Khan Foundation > Multi-Partner Collaboration with IDELA: Ichuli Consulting and The Aga Khan Foundation
Introduction
Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) is working to improve ECD services in the Kampala, Wakiso, and Mukono Districts of Uganda and partnered with Ichuli Consulting to complete an evaluation of the program's impact on school readiness. The evaluation is focused on outcomes associated with improving school readiness in ECE centers and its goal is to provide government with evidence of impact and lay the foundations necessary for larger-scale adoption. In addition to being suited for the Ugandan context and having been used in the country before, IDELA was selected for the evaluation as it represents the skills necessary for children to succeed in primary school. AKF expects to gather findings from the study in 2020.
