Program to improve school readiness and improve quality learning in central Uganda
Summary
This quasi-experimental baseline study was completed by Ichuli Consulting for the Aga Khan Foundation's improving school readiness program in central Uganda, across Kampala, Wakiso and Mukona districts. The program seeks to improve the wellbeing of boys and girls ages 0-8 through community, school, parent and ECD teacher intervention. The report includes detailed sections on Ichuli Consulting's use of IDELA and overall methodology. The baseline concludes with a report on key challenges to quality learning in the subject ECD centers. An endline is scheduled to assess the impacts of the program.
