Understanding School Readiness in Mozambique
Introduction
As a response to limited implementation and evaluation of accelerated school readiness programs (ASR) in Mozambique, Save the Children and UNICEF, in partnership with the Mozambican Ministry of Education, are implementing an ASR program in the Zambezia region. To test the effects of the program on school readiness and successful transition to primary school, American Institutes for Research (AIR) is conducting evaluations using IDELA.
