Brief
How does IDELA compare to other existing Early Childhood Development assessments?
Summary
With nearly 150 tools globally measuring ECD outcomes, choosing the right one can be challenging. IDELA shares several features with other existing tools but it is also unique in that it was purposely developed to address data needs for monitoring and evaluation of ECD programs in low-capacity settings. The IDELA team has developed this resource to summarize the core features of the tool such as its purpose, target age range, the developmental domains measured and basic administration details and to help you understand how these compare with those of other tools.
