Changing Organizational Mind-Set Around Collection and Use of ECE Data
Introduction
Realizing Innovation through Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) Egypt supports entrepreneurial startups address issues of national importance in Egypt. Educate Me (EM), which operates a community preschool and primary school in Egypt, worked together with RISE Egypt to strengthen its school model, learn from global peers in ECD, and integrate an evidence-based approach. RISE Egypt chose IDELA for the study as it is an open source, reliable, validated and concise tool. Results from the study allowed RISE Egypt to introduce a more research-based perspective which EM later adopted and incorporated into its planning processes and within staff.
