Food for the Hungry Ethiopia conducted a baseline study with the Adami Tulu Jido Kombolcha district to measure change with reference to the implementation of the proposed Integrated Community Development (ICD) results through quantitative data collection techniques. The study aimed to better understand the Child Focused Community Transformation (CFCT) programming in the area, identify sets of education interventions and establish baseline levels for key education indicators.
The research findings show that the communities do not have food security problems; however, some indications show that there are poor conditions in the area of sanitation and hygiene, safe water supply and education enrollment, which will require further assistance through a different intervention.
