Hello! I am reaching out to inquire if the IDELA can be used as a pre and post assessment test for pre-school children. For example, would the IDELA be an appropriate measure for pre-school age students in an ECD program to take before they begin the ECD program (pre-test) and again when they complete the ECD program prior to entering Grade 1 (post-test)? We are interested in using the IDELA as a measure of school readiness for Grade 1, as well as a tool that demonstrates the impact of our ECD program.
