    In Kenya, for Item 17, it seems like many children in some schools are not taught the names of the letters, but rather refer to the letters as the sounds. (For example, T is not “tee” but rather “Tuh”). Is that correct?

    Also, for Item 15, children mixed languages (e.g., some animals in Swahili and some in English). Children also gave synonyms (but different words) for foods at the market. How would you advise that we score these?
